“At This Moment” is my reminder — to myself, and perhaps to you — that presence is a practice. And art, at its heart, is one way of returning to it.
These four paintings are an invitation to pause and feel the gentle unfolding of the moment. Each canvas holds a fragment of stillness, a reflection of what happens when we stop to witness the world as it is, without reaching for what comes next.
Inspiration behind the series
There are moments when life slows, just for a heartbeat, and something ordinary comes sharply into focus — the way light moves across a surface, the hush between sounds, the quiet pulse of being.
It’s in those in-between spaces that I often find meaning. They remind me how easily we move past what is right in front of us, and how rare it is to truly be in the moment.
From that quiet realisation, the idea for my new painting series At This Moment was born.
