Where art meets the vine

Palomino is a white grape grown mostly in southern Spain, where it thrives under hot skies and salty winds.

Often used in Sherry, it’s a subtle variety—soft in aroma but rich in tradition. Here, green notes suggest orchard fruits, while a veil of golden light hints at the warmth of its homeland.

A painting to bring a breeze of southern Spain—elegant, golden, and full of memory—into your everyday.

This painting was inspired by Palomino’s gentle nature and the soft, layered character of its wine.

I worked with green to reflect the light crispness of apple, and brown to echo the almond aroma of the grape.

The golden stencil motif is typical of this region of Spain, adding a sense of place and tradition.

“Drinking sherry in Jerez is not just a pastime, it’s a religion.”

Alexandre Dumas

Palomino celebrates resilience and history of century old traditions. It speaks of shared meals, whitewashed villages, and the beauty of things passed down through generations — vibrant and full of soul.

Palomino grapes make up nearly 95% of the vineyards in the Sherry region of Spain. Though often thought of as neutral, the grape is loved for its ability to reflect its surroundings — salt, sun, and soil all come through in the glass.
