Its name means “laurel,” and true to it, the grape offers floral notes, citrus brightness, and a green, leafy freshness.
This painting captures that energy with vibrant orange and green tones.

This painting was inspired by Loureiro’s fresh aromas of orange and bay leaf.
I worked with vivid orange to express the fruit’s brightness and green to reflect the herbal, leafy side of the grape.
The composition feels playful and fragrant and light-filled, like an orchard.

Loureiro is mostly grown along Portugal’s Lima River and is often used in Vinho Verde. Though light in body, it’s rich in aroma—blending citrus, wild herbs, and floral notes in a way that feels uniquely alive.

Most of my works on paper come framed, and the price includes the frame.
For canvas paintings, framing is optional. If you'd like to save on shipping costs or prefer to choose a frame yourself, I'm happy to remove the frame before shipping - just let me know what suits you best.

Yes, you’re very welcome to collect your painting in person.
I also offer free delivery within a 50 km radius of Olhão, Algarve. Alternatively, we can arrange to meet in Olhão, where I’ll be happy to hand over the painting personally.
